For Adults on Sundays:
(All classes start at 9:15 AM)

Being the Parent God Called You to Be:

The most precious gift God gives us is children to raise for Him.  We promise to do that at their Baptism- a promise to God in the presence of His family gathered.  It is probably the most awesome and difficult task we undertake, and one for which we least prepared.  Among other parents committed to be the best they can be in that role, we examine from a variety of sources, what it means to be Godly parents and to raise our children as He would have us do.  Join us as we collectively work to build strong and faithful families as members of His family.

The class meets in the Wardens Room

 Mudhouse Sabbath

Meeting also on Sunday mornings and facilitated by Father Paul Martin, this DVD study is subtitled "Seven Ways of Christian Formation Inspired by the Jewishness of Jesus."

The class meets in the Parlor

"Kickin' Back with the Old Testament"

David Langley will be leading an overview of the Old Testament class in the Bride's Room.  He hopes, in a relaxed atmosphere, to cover the major themes of the Old Testament along with the Heroes and Villains.  He will also look at the land of Israel, its history and significance to modern day Christianity. Through lecture and discussion, the class will discover so much of what is there but overlooked.

The class meets in the Bride’s Room

During the Week:

Being the Man God Called You to Be:

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image….” (Gen 1:26)

Very specifically God made man and woman according to His plan.  So what does it mean to be a “Godly man” in a world which seeks to define who we are and what we are called to be?  Using Holy Scripture and other Christian resources we examine what it is to be a “Godly man” in all aspects of life- at home, with family, among peers, in business, socially, as a follower of Jesus.  Don’t let the world define who it wants you to be, let God teach you who He wants you to be… in His image.

This class meets Tuesday mornings at 7:00 a.m in the Warden’s Room

Wednesday Morning Bible Study with Father Paul:

This is a continuing Bible study that readily welcomes new members.  We are at present working through the “Ps” of the Bible.  We have finished Psalms.  We are presently in Proverbs and will soon be heading to Philippians, and first and second Peter.  This is a casual Bible study based on lecture, which is often interrupted with questions and discussion, which has enhanced the quality of the offering.  The Motto of this class is: The only really dumb question is, by definition, the one not asked.  Again, all are welcomed and encouraged to enter into the fray.

This class meets Wednesday mornings in the Warden’s Room, 10:30-12:00

Study on the Torah, the Law

This Bible study, led by Father Paul Martin, will take a look at the first five books of the Bible, the Pentateuch, also known as The Law.  It will be the job of this study to make the Law become interesting.  We will discover that Leviticus contains a fascinating view into the life of the People of God.  Though not in depth, it will ask that the member take more than a glancing look at the Law and the life of the People of God.

This class meets Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:00 p.m. (nursery provided)

Inquirers Class

This class meets Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:00 p.m. (nursery provided)
